You ever meet someone you know you don’t like right from the start?  Well, that is how this story begins.  I will, however, make it s as short as possible.

My name is Greg Reynolds.  The first time I met my Timmy Quade I truly believe we both tried very hard to like one another.  It did not take.  We are both loud and a little obnoxious.  And we both think we are funny.  It was like a constant battle to be the center of attention.  Alcohol likely didn’t help.

Since we shared dozens of mutual friends, we ended up around each other a lot.  In fairness, I wouldn’t have ever been invited except that everyone loves my wife.

So a year or two into it, I found out that Timmy was in the Optimist Club.  At some point, I offered to donate through another company I own.  

The more I watched Timmy, he was always giving his time and energy…so whenever I found out he needed sponsors or donations, I donated.

This lead to our friendship.  A mutual respect for each other, as well as our community, made us settle down and see we weren’t that different.  

We both have been going to Toot’s Bar for years.  When we found out we could buy it, we jumped on it.  We both see an opportunity to not only save an historic venue, but to make Toot’s available to gatherings, fund raisers and other things in the communities.

Toot’s will always be a band bar.  We have some great bookings coming up in 2026.  We can infuse the live music with other appealing attributes, (you will see soon enough), and have an amazing bar.  Check us out.  We will re-open after renovations in late January.  Come check us out and “Be Part of the History” with us.
